White Gold Earrings with Blue Sapphire and Diamonds

A stud earring in white gold, built from two overlapping petal frames outlined in fine pavé diamonds and set at an angle to form a double-leaf motif. Each frame centres on an oval-cut Ceylon blue sapphire held in fine prongs, the two stones staggered at slightly different heights to give the piece its movement.

The cool white gold and bright pavé hold the deep blue of the Ceylon sapphires at the centre of each leaf. Crafted by Sri Lankan goldsmiths working with sapphires from the island’s own gem belt, where Ceylon blue sapphires have been prized for centuries.
