A long bicolour tourmaline, cut as a baguette, runs the length of this 14KT yellow gold ring, shading from rose pink at one end to sea green at the other. The stone is held in a half-bezel at each end, which leaves its long sides open to the light and shows the stepped facets in profile. The flat, tapered shank gives the ring the outline of a signet. Cut and set by Sri Lankan goldsmiths, the stone sits level with the top of the band. A ring for the woman who wants one stone that reads as two.
